Frequently asked questions
What does the Free plan include?
One inbox, no card. Your whitelist and blacklist run on every message, and you get 80 AI calls a month for mail in your inbox (on Gmail, every tab: Primary, Promotions, Social, Updates and Forums). Spam is left to your whitelist: a whitelisted sender is always taken out of it. A call is used only when a message is actually sent to the AI: mail your whitelist, blacklist or a sender QuietMail already knows settles never uses one. When the 80 calls are used, AI analysis pauses until the 1st of the next month; the whitelist and blacklist keep working. Paid plans analyze every message with no monthly limit, and the AI also checks your Spam and moves mail you would want back to your inbox.
When am I charged?
On the day you subscribe, and then once each billing period until you cancel. Paid plans have no free period before the first charge — the payment is taken at checkout. If you would rather not pay yet, the Free plan has no end date and needs no card.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions are managed through Dodo Payments and you can cancel from your billing page at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
What counts as an inbox?
Each connected email address counts as one inbox, whichever provider it is on. Plans limit how many inboxes can be connected and filtered at the same time.
Which email providers does QuietMail work with?
Gmail and Google Workspace (including custom domains), Outlook.com, Hotmail and Live, Zoho Mail, and mail servers that support the JMAP standard with their own sign-in page. You always connect by signing in at your provider — QuietMail never asks for a mailbox password, which is why Yahoo, AOL, iCloud and Proton aren't supported. For Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts, your organization's admin may need to allow QuietMail first. Gmail is filtered the moment mail arrives; other providers are checked about every 5 minutes.
Is it safe to give QuietMail access to my email?
The AI only reads a copy of each message and returns nothing but its judgment of whether the message matches your rules — it has no tools and can never act on your account. Only deterministic code performs the action you chose, every decision is audited, and your mailbox access tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM).
